Site Visit & Digital Anchor Load Testing
Fence-Lok provides nationwide site visits, allowing us to meet directly with the site team and assess the site conditions, restrictions, and most importantly, understand the specific needs of our customers.
Our innovative systems utilise anchors as a core component, serving as an effective alternative to traditional solutions. During these visits, our team conducts tension or horizontal load testing to evaluate ground conditions and determine a safe working load, this process is to support our Temporary Works Wind Load Calculations.
The type of load test is determined by the specific system the site intends to use, as different systems have varying designs and component configurations. The number of load tests required is based on the overall linear meterage, site location, and consistency of the ground conditions, which we assess during our initial reconnaissance survey.
Our load testing services and reports apply to a range of systems, including Flanged Ground Screws (Soil), HoardScrews (Soil), Asphalt Resin Anchors (Asphalt), and Concrete Anchors (Concrete). The final report includes detailed information such as GPS coordinates for each test, setup images, displacement/load graphs, and other relevant data to provide complete transparency, clarity and peace of mind.

Temporary Works Design
Fence-Lok’s commitment to improving industry standards is driven by focusing on ensuring each site considers its individual conditions, location, risk and duration. Therefore, we work with a third-party engineering consultancy to provide each site a temporary works package which includes the following:
- Site-Specific BS5975 Temporary Works – Wind Load Calculation
- Design & Check Certification
- Site-Specific Tensile or horizontal Load Testing with Data Report (Dependant On System Provided)
- Full System Detail Drawings

Full Installation or Install Training

For systems such as Open Mesh, Solid Steel Hoarding Panels, and Rigid V-Mesh, we provide the option of full installation or hands-on training. This ensures the systems are erected correctly, maintaining both method accuracy and quality standards.
Our Hoard-Pro Solid Hoarding range, however, requires specialist installation services provided exclusively by our professional team. Due to its advanced design, specialist installation equipment, and the expertise required, our skilled installers ensure a seamless and compliant installation process.
